Harissa Hummus (oil free)

Harissa Hummus

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz. Garbanzo Beans / Chickpeas (rinsed and drained)
  • Juice of 1/2 of a Lemon
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 2 T. Harissa Paste
  • 1 clove Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp. Cumin
  • 1 to 2 T. Water (or extra virgin olive oil) 

Directions:

  1. Rinse and drain beans and add to food processor.
  2. Add remaining ingredients to food processor.
  3. Pulse ingredients before blending.
  4. Add water (or extra virgin olive oil) 1 Tablespoon at a time (if necessary) to make the hummus creamier.
